Hi, allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Steven and I run the site Shaving-Guide.com - which you're currently reading.
I started this website back in May 2009, because I too was sick of having to work full-time.
I wanted nothing more than to get rid of those things above (and all the rest) and really start enjoying my life!
I've been living in London for the past 4 years. My daily commute to work takes me just over an hour and involves a tube ride, a train ride, then a bus ride.
Then I have to do the same journey in reverse just to get home.
10 hours of my life every week is spent enduring the sardine lifestyle of London public transport.
Once I get to work, I get to earn my tiny, below national average salary. Quite often, I see invoices where I have been charged out at up to £1,000 per day!
I barely see any of that money.
It's little surprise that I wanted to do something to make sure I don't have to endure that for the rest of my working life!
Every Journey Begins With Just One Step
I made the decision a long time ago that I don't want to be an employee forever.
That decision has always been a push to me, a real kick up the bum, but it never gave me any direction on how to go about it.
The motivation was there, but how exactly do I do it?
I've tried all sorts of get rich quick schemes and even started a few businesses over the years.
I've also had many different jobs along the way, but I've never really found a job that I wanted to do for the next 40 years!
